Wood Lake's Half-Haunted Halloween: Nature's Avengers

Event entry: 2:00-6:00 pm (event ends at 7:30 pm)
$5/person, free for Friends of Wood Lake members (become a member HERE).

Tickets are available to purchase on the night of the event, but advance ticket sales are preferred.

All will enjoy, but this event is mostly geared toward young children up to age 10. This non-scary, family-friendly annual event is back!
Tour through the stations (takes about 1.5 hours), including a trip along the Superheroes Trick or Treat Trail, a games station, a storytelling show by the Rainbow Lady, and end at the MARVELous barn dance to do the limbo, hula hoop and bunny hop. Price includes hot cocoa and cookies. • Tickets are sold for specific tour start times (every 20 minutes between 2:00 and 6:00 pm) and can be purchased in advance at Wood Lake Nature Center on a first-come, first-served basis.

ACCESSIBILITY

Wood Lake’s Half Haunted Halloween program offers 4 accessible parking spaces with other spaces also close to the building. The lot includes paved entrance with a curb cut-out, paver-brick-paved sidewalks to the building to all entrances, automatic door openers at main entrance, with accessible bathrooms and drinking fountain. The trick or treat trail is on level ground and surfaced in crushed limestone and traversable by wheelchairs. The barn dance is located in the picnic area which is on level ground with a grassy surface.
