Ski and Snowshoe Trail and Rental Information
Cross-Country Ski and Snowshoe Trails
For a winter experience close to home, Wood Lake has 2 miles of trails packed and groomed for snowshoeing when snow conditions are permitting. The cross-country ski trail is tracked for classic skiing when weather conditions allow for a 6 inch base of snow. See Wood Lake's trail map for distances and more information. The trails wind through three different habitats: cattail marsh, mixed lowland forest, and restored prairie. A ski pass is not required. There is no charge to use the trails.
