During the current COVID-19 crisis, Richfield Municipal Center will be closed to the public, except by appointment. WE ARE STILL PERFORMING INSPECTIONS, however we are asking our customers to avoid coming to City Hall whenever possible. Most plans and applications can be mailed, emailed, or some residential permits may be pulled online. If you need to make an appointment, please contact Julia or Rachel at 612-861-9860 to schedule. Payment by check can be mailed. We can answer most questions by phone or email. The City is also requesting, if possible, that inspections for all non-life safety residential interior inspections such as window replacement, or final inspections for other minor work be delayed until this crisis is over. For some minor inspections, the homeowner or contractor may be able to FaceTime with the inspector to verify compliance. Please contact one of the inspectors to see if FaceTime is an option for your inspection. Please email permit applications and plans to Rachel or Julia at rgraack@richfieldmn.gov or jbrysky@richfieldmn.gov
