—PROPOSED PROJECTS—

HENLEY II - 600 64TH STREET W & 6345 LYNDALE AVE 
North Bay Companies has submitted land use applications for a new apartment building on the northeast corner of Lyndale Avenue and 64th Street. The existing 22-unit apartment building on the corner will be renovated, and a new 5-story apartment building with 82 units is proposed to the east of the existing building, replacing 3 duplexes and 1 single-family home. A trail connection into Garfield Park would be added along the east edge of the property.

—PROJECTS UNDER CONSTRUCTION—

CHASE BANK AT MARKET PLAZA - NW CORNER 66TH & LYNDALE
A new Chase Bank building with drive-up ATM will be added to the Market Plaza property on the NW corner of 66th & Lyndale. The building will be located in place of the current plaza/pergola at the corner. A public hearing was held at the Planning Commission meeting on Monday, December 9 (agenda).  The proposal was approved by the City Council on February 24, 2020 (agenda). Construction will begin in spring/summer 2020.

LUNDS RESIDENTIAL - 6228 PENN AVENUE S
Lunds plans to build a 6-story, 127-unit residential building in the northwest corner of the parking lot. The existing Lunds store would remain in place. The Planning Commission held a public hearing and recommended approval of the project on October 28 (agenda). Plans were approved by the City Council on November 26 (agenda). Construction is expected to begin in mid-2020.
