Purchase a lot from the Richfield HRA that has already been prepared for new construction and be on the path to building your new home. Home guidelines include: 

  • Must be owner-occupied
  • Provides at least 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2-car garage
  • Design complements the existing neighborhood.
  • Build to "green" certification and receive a $5,000 credit.

HRA approval required. Applicant must meet with HRA staff and submit all materials at least three weeks prior to HRA meetings to be placed on the agenda. The HRA meeting calendar can be found here.

There are currently two lots available. Application review will begin June 14th, 2023 but preliminary applications will be accepted until the lots are awarded. Priority will be given to proposals featuring two units (duplexes).
