Register your Richfield sale with the City-Wide Garage Sale, held Thu-Sat, May 16-18.
Richfield Recreation will list your sale, along with your open days/times, featured items for sale, and a pin on the garage sale map.  An interactive map will be posted on our website (www.richfieldmn.gov/garagesale), as well as a printable/downloadable list and map in PDF format.  The list and map will be printed and made available for free at most City sites, beginning the previous weekend (at all four liquor stores, Wood Lake Nature Center, the Community Center, and the Municipal Center).  Maps with lists of sales will be available on May 13.
-PUBLICITY: We advertise the City-Wide Garage Sale on the City website (www.richfieldmn.gov), on Craigslist, and in Facebook posts and direct emails.
-YARD SIGN: The registration fee includes a numbered yard sign, identifying you as a participant of the City-Wide Garage Sale.  The signs are available for pickup only on Tuesday, May 14, 2:00-7:00 pm, at the Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Ave.  You may dispose of the signs after the sale.
-REGISTRATION: Register online or in person at the Community Center (7000 Nicollet Ave, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm).  For more information, call Richfield Recreation at 612-861-9385. The deadline to register is Monday, May 6, 5:00 pm.
-OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES

  • You are advised not to open your sale before the dates of the sale or earlier than 8:00 am on any day.
  • City regulations prohibit the posting of garage sale signs on city boulevards (usually about 13’ back from the curb), sidewalks or street corners.
  • We hope that our ads and listings will send lots of visitors to your sale! Participation in the sale does not guarantee a successful sale or good weather.
