Parks

Richfield boasts 450 acres of park land over 23 different parks.  These parks provide amenities diverse in character: natural areas, walking and bike paths, athletic facilities, playgrounds, open green space, and more.  With the exception of Wood Lake Nature Center, the parks are maintained by the Public Works Department, Parks Maintenance Division.  For more information about Richfield parks, refer to the park map and chart of amenities or search by location or amenity with the Hennepin County Park Finder, as well as a map of regional bike trails and lanes in and around Richfield.

Other Facilities

Other than the parks, Richfield Recreation's other facilities are the Outdoor Pool, the Ice ArenaMaltTees Mini Golf & Malt Shop, the Community Center, and Wood Lake Nature Center.

Parks Maintenance

All parks, other than the special facilities listed above, are maintained by the Public Works Department, Parks Maintenance Division.

Special Event Permits

For special permission to hold a public event on public property, please complete one of the following applications and submit to the address or email listed in the permit materials.  If your event involves products for sale, you will also be required to contact Public Safety/Business Licensing regarding completing the appropriate business license application.
