POLICE REPORTS and DATA REQUESTS

Requesting Police Data

Requests for any police-related data (incident/accident reports, video footage, statistical information, etc.) should be made through our Data Request Center. Responses to data requests typically take a few days. Some records/reports may not be released due to data privacy laws.

GOVERNMENT AGENCIES/OFFICERS/EMPLOYEES: If you represent a government agency (law enforcement, social services, child protection, etc.) and need data for official use, a formal data request is generally not required. Please contact our Police Media & Data Specialist at psrecords@richfieldmn.gov.

MEDIA/PRESS: If your request requires immediate assistance and/or involves an active incident, a formal data request is not required. Please contact our Public Information Officer, Lt. Brad Drayna, at (612) 861-9825 or bdrayna@richfieldmn.gov.
