  • Today, Governor Walz extended Minnesota's stay-at-home order through May 4. The extension of the order will further aid in the spread of the disease while also allowing the state’s health care facilities to acquire necessary equipment. More information here. (4/8/20)  
  • In trying to keep our youngest residents happy, the Richfield Fire Department and Police Department have teamed up to do "Birthday Patrols" to celebrate children having a birthday. More information here.  (4/7/20)

  • Per the Department of Public Safety - Driver and Vehicle Services, the Richfield Motor Vehicle Services department will be closed for the duration of the governor's stay at home order (March 28 - April 10). More information here. (3/26/20)

  • Starting Wednesday, March 25, the City of Richfield will be temporarily closing two of its municipal liquor stores to further improve social distancing between customers and staff. More information here. (3/24/20)
  • Hennepin County announced that it will cancel its April 30 Open Book meeting scheduled for the City of Richfield. The purpose of these meetings are to give residents an opportunity to discuss property taxes with their assessors. More information on how to contact an assessor here. (3/24/20)
  • City liquor store operations have limited hours, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at all locations, and stores will no longer be accepting cash at the stores. More information here. (3/23/20)
