The Planning Commission is a seven-member body, appointed by the City Council, that is charged with guiding the orderly and compatible development of Richfield. The Commission holds public hearings and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding long-term land use plans, zoning regulations and development applications.
The Planning Commission holds meetings on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Richfield Municipal Center Council Chambers. The Commission also conducts a work session approximately six times per year. Work sessions are held in the Bartholomew Room at the Municipal Center unless otherwise noted (times and dates vary).
