Veterans Park has a parking lot adjacent to the Farmers Market. During our busiest hours, overflow parking is located at the Richfield Ice Arena, or the East (rear) end of the American Legion parking lot, both a short walk across the park. Street parking is available in the neighborhood, with a crosswalk at 64th and Portland.
Alternative transportation: Bike racks are available at the market, and 64th & Portland Ave is serviced by Metro Transit bus route #5.
VEAP PRODUCE PICKUP - (Summer Only)
We partner with VEAP to collect produce and other food goods from the market to stock VEAP's food pantry with fresh foods.
To donate, look for the green tubs located near the entrances or at our information booth. Or, you can donate fresh market produce to VEAP by ordering a "Donation Box (choose your amount)" on our online store.
Thank you for helping make local produce & fresh food more accessible to everyone in our community. For more information about VEAP, call 952-888-9616 or visit their website.

The Richfield Farmers Market is a member of the MN Farmers Market Association and Minnesota Grown. We participate in EBT & Market Bucks initiatives, provided through Hunger Solutions MN, which allows customers who use SNAP/EBT to purchase food. We are committed to making healthy food accessible to everyone who comes to our market and are proud to say that all of our vendors' products come from within 200 miles or less, and at least 80% of the market products are produced in Minnesota. Around 25 different local farmers & food producers sell at our market. The site has on-site, fully accessible restrooms.
Since 1990, Richfield Recreation has operated the Richfield Farmers Market to provide access to local, healthy, and affordable foods, and to offer a community gathering space to help connect residents, as well as local producers. The Richfield Farmers Market also emphasizes educational and recreational activities through our involvement with the Richfield Arts Commission, the U of M Master Gardener Program, and other programs and events.
POWER OF PRODUCE (POP) CLUB FOR KIDS!
Kids ages 4-12 receive $2 credit to pick out a fruit or veggie to try each week.
This year parents will help kids shop on our online farmers market, then parents will pick up the ordered produce at the market. Store credit is loaded each month, $2 for each child for every week that month. Right now we are asking families to send just 1 person per household to the market. Parents: stay tuned for fun & educational materials sent to your sign up email for your POP Club kids.
