The Hunt for the Yeti at Wood Lake Nature Center
Jan 31-Feb 6, 2021 from 9-4pm
Follow the clues left by Yeti Researcher Oakly Windbanks to help discover where the yeti has been hiding at Wood Lake! Each clue is a video left behind by Oakly Windbanks herself. Find the QR codes and scan them with your phone to receive a video with info for the next clue. Follow the brightly colored pink riddle signs to find the next QR video clues. Don’t let the riddles throw you off the yeti scent! They are there to guide you to the next clue. If you are lucky enough to find the yeti, snap a photo of yourself with the yeti in the background and send to recreation@richfieldmn.gov. Please include the names of those in your group to be entered into a prize drawing for a FOWL membership, day cross-country ski pass, or day snowshoe pass at Wood Lake Nature Center. But we all know the real prize is the fun and excitement you will experience while on the hunt for the yeti. Good Luck!
