Absentee Voting for Richfield School Board race begins September 17

Richfield, Minn. (September 16, 2021) – Beginning Friday, Richfield residents can begin voting absentee for the upcoming School Board election. Election Day is November 2 and the Richfield School Board race is the only race on the ballot in Richfield. This election is also open to Edina residents who live within the boundaries of the Richfield School District 280.

Voting absentee allows voters to complete their ballot at home (with a witness) or in person at the Richfield Municipal Center before Election Day on November 2. Absentee voting hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Richfield Municipal Center – 6700 Portland Ave S.

Voters wishing to vote absentee by mail should contact the Richfield City Clerk to request an application and to begin the absentee voting process. Call the Election Line at (612) 861-0580 to request an application.
